Maggie, Business Office Manager

Maggie started her dental career over 20 years ago as a dental lab technician but wanted more patient interaction, so she became a registered dental assistant. She later moved to her current position, where she utilizes her experience, background, and genuine desire to help people to make you feel like part of our dental family.

Maggie is a mother of two children and recently became a grandmother for the first time. She loves the beach, enjoys reading and spending time with family. Another passion of hers is caring for her two rescue dogs.

Shonda, Dental Assistant

Shonda, who grew up knowing she wanted to work in the dental field, became a dental assistant in 1992. She loves getting to know patients personally and likes the feeling that she has helped them and possibly made a difference in their day. It is always her goal to make patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible in the office.

Shonda enjoys camping with friends and family, Loves a day at the beach. Anything that has to do with enjoying the outdoors would make her happy.

She is proud to be a navy wife and the mother of two teenagers, a black lab and a chihuahua.

Ashley, Dental Hygienist

Ashley came to be a part of Dr. Gerlecz’s team straight out of the dental hygiene program at GCSC in 2019. Her favorite part of being in dentistry is the friendly relationships she builds with her patients while helping them with their dental needs.

Ashley enjoys concerts, hanging out with friends, or having a quiet dinner with her fiancé, Hunter.

Erica, Dental Hygienist

Erica became a dental assistant in 2009 and then decided to pursue a career in dental hygiene. She loves the interaction with her patients and is passionate about caring for and teaching them excellent preventive care.

Erica has been married to her best friend for 17 years. They have 2 children and a beloved dog named, Harley. Erica loves spending time with her family on the water - boating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming.

Jassmin, Dental Hygienist

After being a registered dental assistant for eight years, Jassmin decided to return to school and become a dental hygienist. After completing the program, she joined Dr. Stephen Myers practice where she worked until joining our team in September 2020. She has a great love for dentistry and caring for patients. Her favorite part of her work is the relationships she can build with the people she cares for. In her free time, Jassmin loves cleaning house, refinishing furniture and spending time outdoors with her husband, teenage son and doodle dog.

Volker, Dental Lab Technician/Ceramist

Volker was born in Mannheim, Germany. He graduated from Carl Engler School in Karlsruhe, Germany as a certified dental technician. After working in various dental laboratories, Volker decided he could best utilize his artistic talents directly with a dentist in private practice. After moving to the United States, he became a part of the dental practice of Stephen Myers, D.M.D. In 2015, Dr. Myers agreed to share this talented technician with Dr. Gerlecz and in 2020 after Dr. Myers retirement, he joined our team exclusively. Volker is now in charge of our inhouse dental laboratory.

Volker enjoys the beach life with his wife Janet and their family. His interest includes photography, art, music, travel and motorcycles.
